Downloading an original element or revision

You can download the high-resolution original version of an element from a project or library. When an element has multiple revisions, you can download the high-resolution original version of a specific revision.

Requirements:

You must have a project or library role that includes the Download Originals user right.

Note: Depending on the user right, you may not see the Download menu.

In the Elements view, select the element or folder that you want to download.
Perform one of the following actions:
- Select Download > Original.
- Drag the elements that you selected to the desktop or a folder on your operating system's file directly.
The Downloading element(s) window appears and displays the progress.
Note: According to the browser settings, the element is downloaded to the default location and/or appears in the browser window. Configure the browser to specify the download location and the way to handle download files.
When the download is complete, click Close.

If the element has multiple revisions, only the latest revision is downloaded.

If you downloaded an element revision, from the Revisions for Element window, the revision number is automatically appended to the file name of the revision as .r<number>. For example, revision 2 of the element sample.ai would be downloaded as sample.r2.ai.

If you downloaded multiple elements or a folder, a compressed (.zip) file is created.
