Adding task elements from an existing task to another task as reference element

You can add existing task elements to a different task as a reference task element.

Requirements:

You must have a project role that includes the Modify Tasks user right.

  1. In the Tasks view, select an existing task.
  2. Select the required task elements.
  3. From the Task menu, select Add Elements to Task.
  4. In the Add Element to active Task window, in the Task list, select another task to which you want to add the elements as reference elements.
    Note: In this case, you can add the element only as a reference element, so the Add as reference option is already selected.
  5. Click Apply.
